Homemade Earl Grey Infused Gin

This recipe makes approximately 750ml / 75cl of Earl Grey infused gin. This is about the same amount as a standard bottle of gin.

What we love most about this recipe is that it has tea in it – so a great excuse to drink it anytime of day : )

You will need:

The rest is real easy:

  1. Sterilise the bottle

  2. Pour in the gin

  3. Add in the tea

  4. Seal the container

  5. Leave for 2 hours (the longer you leave it the stronger the taste!)

  6. Strain the gin through a sieve and get rid of the tea

  7. Serve with a slice of lemon

We recommend adding tonic to this recipe. Our favourite is Fever Tree Light Mediterranean Tonic Water.

And of course as it’s ‘essentially’ tea you could serve in teacups with a few biscuits on the side. We’d suggest Cartwright & Butler Chocolate Chunk Biscuits.
