Negroni Cocktail

This is another favourite of the team – often seen at the start of a night out before things get less civilised.

The cocktail is named after Count Camillio Negroni who back in 1919 asked a barman in Italy to strengthen his Americano by replacing the soda water with gin. The consistent popularity of this drink has made it one of the most iconic gin cocktails.

The Negroni family did quite well out of it too – opening the Negroni Distillery later the same year.
