This is an oldie but a goodie and as the name suggests comes with a hell of a kick.
You will need:
A bottle of La Fee absinthe
A good quality gin such as Tanqueray Dry London Gin
A bottle of Lillet Blanc
A bottle of triple sec liqueur
The juice of a lemon and an orange twist to garnish
Call your boss and book the next day off!
To make the Corpse Reviver:
Add a dash of Absinthe to a chilled martini glass and turn the glass to line the sides
Add equal measures (22ml) of gin, Lillet Blanc, triple sec and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker and pour in any excess Absinthe from the martini glass
Add ice and shake vigorously
Strain into the martini glass and add a twist of orange to garnish
